NNF Thanks Skiers and Supporters for Successful Summer Auction

Date:

The following post was recently received from the National Nordic Foundation. It is the official position of this website that NNF is good, and you should give them money. Thank you to those of you who have done so here.

The National Nordic Foundation (NNF) extends its deepest gratitude towards the entire U.S. ski community and its supporters for making our annual summer auction a huge success.

This year’s auction raised a total of $31,486 towards the future of nordic skiing in the United States. Your support helps build a strong foundation to fund our Pillar Projects this winter, and continue the success, and dreams, of talented developing skiers across the country. While those skiers have been out across the country working hard towards their goals, their supporters pulled together to go above and beyond our $20,000 goal to show the unique character and dedication that drives our success as a ski community.

We hope that the American ski community will watch with extra pride this winter knowing that the accomplishments of those representing the United States at the sport’s highest level are supported by a generous community that is committed to seeing athletes from all backgrounds succeed.

From all of us at NNF, and the hundreds of athletes who[m] these funds support, thank you.

Sincerely,

The National Nordic Foundation – Yuriy Gusev (Board Chair), Matt Whitcomb, Joey Caterinichio, Erika Flowers, Sophie Caldwell Hamilton, Laura McCabe, Colin Rodgers, Reese Brown, Ben Theyerl
