The most prestigious ski races happening in northern Italy in February 2026 have already come and gone: The 2026 Masters World Cup was held in Sappada last week. Roughly 800 athletes from 26 countries competed.
Nordic Insights photographer Anna Engel was in Sappada for the week. She entered three individual races and came back with three medals. She will be the first to tell you that the fields were not particularly deep in the F1 class, but it is also true, now as always, that you can only beat who shows up.
Here is a full listing of American podiums at this year’s races, interspersed with some fine photos from Anna. Next year’s championship will be held in Tromsø, in (far) northern Norway, from February 26 to March 4, 2027. Full results for this year’s races, and overall medal table, are at the bottom of this article.
