Here are complete national team rosters for the U.S. Ski Team cross-country ski team from the 2004/2005 season through 2023/2024. Citations for all years are at the bottom of the article. Most sources linked to are just fairly dry press releases from USSS, née USSA, but that said there were, memorably, a full 50 comments left at the bottom of the announcement from April 2010 blurbing the seven-athlete national team for the 2010/2011 season. Seriously, though, the comments on the April 2010 piece are, collectively, a fascinating period piece from a moment when Bill Marolt’s salary for leading the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association was very much a sore point, and readers were passionately debating Torin Koos’s recent results and potential future contributions to men’s World Cup skiing.

[I can sort of do this for the two years prior to that… this and this look like partial rosters for the national team in 2003/2004 (Melissa Oram anyone?), and this is probably a full roster for 2002/2003, but I couldn’t be certain, so I cut off the official list in 2004/2005. This happens to be precisely 20 years contained within this data set, so that is a nice round number if nothing else.]
