If you’re reading this website, odds are good that your favorite pro skier was in Utah this past week for Park City Camp. APU was there. Bridger was there. Team Birkie was there. SMS was there. The sizable portion of the U.S. Ski Team that attends the University of Utah (seriously though, consider that Sophia Laukli, Novie McCabe, Sydney Palmer-Leger, Walker Hall, and Luke Jager are all on one ski team, plus Brian Bushey, Sam Hendry, and Noel Keeffe are also, like, good skiers) were there already, because, well, that’s where they go to school. Klæbo was not there anymore, but he had been recently, and he seemed to enjoy himself.
Last year’s camp featured, shall we say, mixed precipitation. This is what October 2021 looked like in Park City.
Conditions in October 2022 were somewhat more humane. Please enjoy this photo frolic through fine fall foliage facilitating a lot of hard training at altitude.
There are videos, too. Enjoy this look at fast skiers skiing fast.
