Adam is a Midwest native transplanted to the Pacific Northwest. He stays busy exploring Oregon’s ski opportunities and enjoys staying connected to the sport through writing and the odd ski race. He lives in Portland with his wife.

Noah, a proud Vermonter, is working to change hearts and minds at this Alaska-based publication. Now firmly retired from competitive skiing, he is living in western Norway, ostensibly to attend graduate school but actually to eat brown cheese and waffles at every opportunity.

Whether courseside at Kincaid Park, high atop Mt. Marathon, or along the trails in Wirth Park for the first American World Cup in decades, Anna travels where she needs to to get the shot. Anna is a five-time Elite Wave finisher (and counting!) in the skate Birkie, with a best finish so far of 17th. Anna lives in Anchorage.

Adele is a recent graduate from DeLaSalle High School in the Twin Cities, where she raced for her school team and for Loppet Nordic Racing. Adele is in her second year at Yale University, and is thrilled to stay connected with the sport from snow-sparse New Haven.

Angie has a professional background in pharmacology, but loves writing and sports and is excited to marry the two by being a contributing journalist. Angie lives and skis in Park City.

Gavin is the site's founder; he leads day-to-day reporting and editing. He is the only media member in the entire country to have attended the last three national championships. He trains with APU Masters and races frequently. He has a cat named Marit.

Peter is a mostly retired wine-business lifer. If he isn’t exploring outdoors, he’s playing and writing music. He lives in a cure cottage in Saranac Lake with a cat named Ziggy. When Ziggy is caught up on his sleep, he will judge you.

Born in Vancouver, Lukas has grown up in British Columbia and in Norway, where he is currently studying. After being on the ground at the World Championships last year he is looking forward to contributing more regularly to Nordic Insights this winter. In his free time he enjoys skiing past the Norwegian national team, albeit in the opposite direction.

Born in the North Maine Woods, Devin is now living in London with her husband and Maine Coon cat. When not watching ski racing she can be found rowing on the Thames or editing for Nature Communications.
